Everyone knows how awful the dentist is….. UNTIL NOW!!! GO TO THIS PLACE! First off it looks like a hotel resort. It’s clean as a whistle. The staff were SO down to earth and genuine. I wasn’t even an established patient, and they got me in same day for a filling that fell out! I was even in and out in less than 40 min!!! My entire family will be going here now!

Jessinia & Dr. Melton @Southern Smiles were great!! I have a 30yr old fear (and aversion) to Dentists, but I know it is necessary! They understood and with my very sensitive teeth took great care in xray-ing, cleaning and inspecting them. All Good & No Pain!👍👍 …

As someone with a lot of anxiety around going to the dentist, Southern Smiles is the 1 and only dental office that has gotten me back in the swing of regular dental cleanings after over 6 years of avoiding the dentist! My hygienist (Daniel) and my dentist (Dr. Hamilton) are the absolute BEST & I no longer am anxious about going to the dentist. I will recommend SS to anyone & everyone I know! Thank you guys :)

My wife and I had our dental appointments today, and we were truly impressed. The entire team was very welcoming, and they took the time to explain everything clearly and patiently. The pricing also felt very fair and genuine, which I really appreciated. We were so satisfied with the experience that we already scheduled our son’s first dental visit with them for Monday. I also loved that they have a small designated play area for kids. It shows how much they care about making families comfortable. The whole staff clearly knows what they’re doing, and they create a very warm and professional environment. After today’s visit, I am really happy that we chose this dental office. If anyone is looking for a great family dentist, this is definitely the right place!

I’ve been going to Dr. Melton for years now — honestly, I can’t even remember how long because it’s been that long! Dr. Melton and the entire staff are absolutely wonderful. They are kind, professional, and always make me feel comfortable. I truly appreciate the excellent care they provide.

Very impressed with this dentist facility. From the moment you walk in you can sense the difference in care you will receive. Waiting area is very spacious and comfortable. I actually didn’t sit long enough to fully enjoy it since I was called in to be seen right at my scheduled time which is very impressive. Usually I have to wait well past my time to be called in. Brandy which was my hygienist did a really good job with her service as well as attention to patient. She did the most to make sure my services to be performed were going to be covered by my insurance since I was switching dental offices without me even asking. Most other times i just end up with a surprise bill because no one checked my coverage. That speaks volumes! Will definitely be my preferred dental office in College Station.

Southern Smiles was recommended to my husband and me through a Texas A&M student veterans group, and we could not be more grateful for the referral. From the very beginning, their team has been exceptional. They took the time to carefully review our insurance coverage to ensure it would work with their office—something we truly appreciated, as retired military insurance can sometimes be complicated. That attention to detail immediately gave us confidence. At our first appointments, every team member introduced themselves and clearly explained who we would be working with for different aspects of our care. Before beginning any procedure, they thoroughly walked us through what would be done, why it was necessary, and what to expect. Everything was communicated clearly, respectfully, and in a timely manner. Southern Smiles truly exemplifies professionalism, organization, and compassionate care.

I absolutely loved everything about this place. First the waiting area was beautiful and elegant. It was extremely clean. Even the exam room was nice. I enjoyed the calming screensavers on the wall in my room. I had the pleasure of having Brandy assist me through-out the visit. You’d think I was exaggerating but this lady was the absolute best dental assistant I’ve ever had. She explained everything with such knowledge!! She has great bedside manner and lots of patience. She even showed me pictures and X-rays. Dr Greg Melvin is unbelievable as well. Amazing staff all around. They made sure I understood all my options. I left with a really nice goody bag, that even included a southern smiles coffee mug. I just really wish they had more payment plan options

I highly recommend this place. I moved to bryan in November and was looking for a new dentist. A coworker had recommended this place and let me say, I am so pleased with them. They are the kindest most patient people I have ever met. Dr Melton was amazing, unfortunately I had to have a tooth pulled and he talked me through the entire process, knowing I was nervous. He took his time with the numbing to ensure it was done properly. He was very gentle and explained everything he was doing and how much longer we had. I just went today for some fillings on my front teeth, some very noticeable cavities that I had been wanting to get filled for a long time hut never could. He filled them and they looked beautiful, I was only there for just under and hour and once again he was absolutely amazing. I will he going back for future dental work. I cannot recommend Dr Melton enough. And not to mention the hygienist are top notch. Unfortunately I do not remember the name of the girl that I had but she was so wonderful. Her customer service was immaculate and she was so very kind. Thank you Dr Melton and the Southern Smiles team!!!

After an unpleasant experience at another dental clinic, I carefully searched for a good doctor and clinic and decided to come here — and I’m very glad I did. Today I came for a crown and fillings, and the entire experience was wonderful. The doctor and assistant were extremely kind, caring, and patient, and they explained every step clearly before starting the procedure. The clinic itself is very clean, calming, and beautifully designed. As someone who is sensitive to environment and design details, I truly appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and professionalism of the space. Dr. Melton was very caring and made me feel comfortable throughout the treatment. I highly recommend this clinic.
